Successful High Altitude Training
Marit Bjørgen returned from the joint Norwegian training camp in Val Senales. “I returned on Friday and has enjoyed couple of days at home” writes Marit on her new web page. Season kick off is close and the Norwegian team will not go abroad before the season opener in Gällivare. “We will find snow in Norway and eventually go to Beitostølen for the national season opening” reveals Marit plans for upcoming days. Traditional Norway’s season opener in Beitostølen takes place next weekend on November 12-14.
World Cup Plans
Bjørgen will not miss the inaugural World Cup in Gälliavare, Sweden. “World Cup starts week after Beitostølen on 20 November with 10 km Free. As we get started with competitions, time will go very fast towards the winter peak, the World Championships in Holmenkollen. I can not wait!” concluded Marit Bjørgen.
