September 21, 2005 – Back again for another round and a chance to establish itself as the premiere ski marathon circuit in Canada is the 2006 Salomon Marathon Cup Series (MCS). Salomon Canada has invested over $30,000 worth of cash and prizes over this 10 event tour that will link some of Canada’s most reputable ski marathons. The Salomon MCS will provide participants with multiple opportunities to test Salomon’s new line of skate and classic skis, boots and bindings.

The 2006 Salomon MCS is a compilation of 10 ski marathon distance events ranging from 30 – 55 kilometres that will challenge skiers at all levels. Whether it’s through the rolling hills of Quebec, the dense forests of central Canada or the snowy slopes of BC’s interior, Nordic skiers will get their chance to participate in some of the most exciting ski events our country has to offer.

Every MCS host event will offer a variety of distances to choose from and a wealth of activities to entertain you and your family for the entire weekend. Whether you are there to test your metal, to browse and demo Salomon’s new Equipe 10 ski, chat with Team X-C.com members or just enjoy a quiet afternoon on the ski trails, the 2006 Salomon Marathon Cup Series has something for you!
