March 21 (Squamish, BC) – The Callaghan Local Organizing Committee (CALOC) is pleased to host the 2008 Squamish Life Canadian Biathlon Championships March 25-30 at Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley. Approximately 170 biathletes will compete at the most prestigious biathlon event in Canada, including top Canadians Zina Kocher, Sandra Keith and JP LeGuellec, plus top biathletes from the USA. This will be the first opportunity to watch world-class athletes test their mettle on the new Olympic biathlon courses and range.
