June 9, 2009 (Bled, Slovenia) – Though the winter season is over and the next one seems far away, now is the time to think about what to do next year! Six different sports, world cup venues, no qualification criteria, beautiful nature, a wide variety of accommodation and meeting new people from the whole world are definitely the reasons why you should compete at World Winter Masters Games. – Individual entry fee – 120 EUR
– One event – 55 EUR
– Two events – 95 EUR
– Team entry ice hockey* – 650 EUR
– Team entry indoor football/futsal* – 450 EUR

*A team has to pay only the team entry fee and not the individual fees for each competitor. The individual entry fee is payable once and for all and you can compete in all the events of your sport.

No qualification criteria need to be satisfied to become part of the games. You can be your own team; multinational teams are also allowed. In some ice hockey and futsal teams that are already registered players come from several countries. In addition, athletes from more than 25 countries have already decided to compete at the World Winter Masters Games.

World cup venues
Cross-country skiers and participants competing in the biathlon will have the honour of being one of the first competitors to ski at the completely new ski center on Pokljuka. The old site, where the biathlon world cup took place every year, will turn into one of the most modern centres for sport and recreation.
