November 18, 2007 (Silver Star, BC) – The X-C.com crew was part of the official opening of the Silver Star Mountain Nordic trails yesterday as the resort unleashed the avid skiers onto their trail system. The trails have been unofficially open for a few weeks after the mountain received good snow earlier in the month. But warm weather melted most of the snow in the village leaving skiers to hike up to the summit to get on good snow!

Salomon Nordic Demo Tour – X-C.com will be onsite to promote the new 2008 Salomon Nordic Ski Line-up of boots and skis. This is a great opportunity to test our demo fleet – we’ll have everything from recreational to elite products. Come on out, it’s free!

Ladies, this is your chance to come out and enjoy a fun morning of skiing with your peers – Team X-C.com’s 3-time Olympian Milaine Theriault and Keskinada Champion Brooke Gosling will lead you out for a short ski and touch on some practical technique pointers to make you a more efficient skier. The ski will be followed by a short review of the Swix women’s clothing line-up as well some quick and easy waxing tips to help you enjoy your days on snow! Come on out, lots of great prizes to win!!
