Our hotel in Dusseldorf was attached to a soccer stadium which happened to be hosting the VW Sirocco Race of Champions which is an indoor car race featuring all different kinds of cars from Audi R8′s to NASCAR Stock Cars! There was also a bunch of famous drivers including, Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button and less traditional car drivers such as Travis Pastrana. The team had a great time taking in just a slightly different sort of racing than we’re accustomed to on the xc World Cup!
