Coaches to Receive Bonus Money for Olympic Medals in London

June 06, 2012 – The London 2012 Games are not only important financially to winning athletes – now for the first time their respective coaches will receive bonus money from Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) equal to half of what athletes receive reports Canadian Press. Here’s what’s on the line – $10,000 per gold, $7,500 for silver and $5,000 for bronze and the COC is also featuring coaches more prominently in their promotional videos of athletes for the London Games… Sochi here we come – read more here.

    This will be interesting to see who the athlete identifies as his REAL COACH—to see how many times the National Team Coach will be side stepped and the coach you never really hear about gets named.
