March 11, 2010 (Vancouver, BC) – Cornelia Marek of Poland’s cross-country ski team has tested positive for EPO in her A-sample, reports the Polish Olympic Committee. The urine sample was taken February 25, after the 4x5km relay, where Poland placed 6th. Marek has withdrawn from the FIS XC World Cup in Drammen, NOR, but denies having knowingly used banned substances.
