August 26, 2008 – Cross Country Ontario is pleased to announce that Adam Kates has been awarded the Heinz Niederhauser Coaching Scholarship. Former National Team member remembers Heinz as a great coach with a ‘positive attitude, friendly and helping personality and true love of the sport which made him someone that people will always remember and admire’. Adam is currently Head Coach of Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
