October 16, 2016 (Canmore, AB) – The Alberta World Cup Academy (AWCA) and the Capital Region Training Group (CRTG) are pleased to announce that they entered into their 3rd year of a formal partnerhsip in May of 2016 and have a very active, adventurous and effective off-season of training together. This notice is to formally recognize the partnership and to provide more information about what it is about.

The 2016-2017 partnership objectives include training together for over 22 days of targeted off-season training; racing together at up to 23 races; and contributing together at athlete and coaching development initiatives that will provide opportunities for developing athletes at regional clubs.  This partnership brings together a regional multi-club team that is providing a full range of high performance athlete services with a preparatory pathway that is aligned with national level programs.
