September 23, 2008 (Anchorage, AK) – The third and final rollerski event in the Anchorage Parks and Recreation series took place this past Sunday at the city’s Kincaid park – the site of the 2009 and 2010 US XC National Championships. The Alaska Pacific University Ski team continued it’s domination of the series placing five women and four men in the top six spots respectively and sweeping the podium in both.

Kikkan Randall and Anders Haugen were winners again and secured their places as the overall women’s and men’s series champions. The women raced 5 km, and the men 10 km. The next race on the schedule for the APU program will be the opening Super Tour races in West Yellowstone November 28-29.
