May 11, 2012 (Leoben, Austria) – According to an AP report, Austrian cross-country skier Mikhail Botvinov, who won 30km silver at the Salt Lake Games and 50km bronze in Torino, received a suspended four-month prison sentence for giving false testimony as a witness in the doping case against ex-Nordic coach Walter Mayer.
