June 10, 2004 – The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is hosting the official Olympic gold medal presentation ceremony for Beckie Scott at the Georgia Street Plaza, located in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery, June 25, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. Canadian IOC member Charmaine Crooks will present Scott with her gold medal. Scott’s bronze medal in the 5K pursuit at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games was originally upgraded to silver in October 2003 and then elevated to gold in December.
