July 12, 2009 (Kananaskis, AB) – The Beckie Scott High-Performance Training Centre, renamed after the Olympic and World Cup medalist Beckie Scott, is a seasonal training camp located on the Haig Glacier in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, in the heart of Kananaskis Country. WinSport Canada has been operating the camp since 1989, providing snow skiing for Canada’s elite cross-country ski athletes in the summer months.
