September 20, 2008 (Yellowknife, NWT) – Over the weekend, Beckie Scott traveled to the north and was able to catch up with some local Track Attack and High Performance athletes along with several coaches and parents at the Yellowknife Ski Club. Beckie spoke to them about her experiences growing up skiing as well as some inspirational words on how she dealt with using her nervousness to her advantage, when it came to competition.

Up and comer, Thomsen D’Hont from CVTC, was also home for the weekend and was able to join in. The Yellowknife Ski Club would like to thank Beckie for her visit and sharing her experiences with the athletes.
