April 20, 2012 – I don’t usually write on a Friday night; but the news is big and could not come at a better time for our Annual Fund Drive. With just 10 days remaining in the drive, a friend of NENSA has stepped forward and offered to match, dollar for dollar every donation to NENSA’s Annual Fund up to $5000.

Successfully meeting this match will mean that we’ll surpass our Annual Fund goal and have an opportunity, like last year for Board of Directors to designate even more funding to some of your favorite programs like the Athlete Fund and Skis for Kids.

So, please take advantage of the match as soon as possible.   wIt might even be a good time to consider a second gift to NENSA — your dollars are doubled and we’ll complete our final 7K at double speed.

The donor did not put restricitions on the gift, but did mention the fact that they especially value broad-based participation and get just as much joy from seeing $10 and $25 dollar donations to NENSA as the big ones.
