March 19, 2006 – Brian McKeever set the pace for the first half of the men’s 15k at the Paralympics but had to settle for second at the finish, behind Oleh Munts of the Ukraine.
The medal adds a silver to Brian’s collection of two gold and a bronze, as he and guide Robin surpassed their 2004 tally of two golds and a silver. This was the last day of nordic competition at the Paralympics, with Brian and Colette Bourgonje capturing 6 of Canada’s 13 Paralympic medals so far in the Games.
