December 23, 2005 – I just received a phone call from Kaspar Wirz with the results from today’s IPC World Cup in Val di Fiemme. Shauna Maria Whyte placed 3rd in the Women’s sit ski Biathlon Long Distance 10km event.

Shauna shot 18/20 total, one of her best shooting results at a World Cup event. Shauna has spent the past month in Europe, focusing her training specifically on Biathlon (she also competes in the Cross Country events).
