Caitlin and Brian Gregg Triumph at USSA SuperTour Tour de Twin Cities Finale 10/15km FR Pursuit

January 27, 2013 (Minneapolis, MN) – Caitlin and Brian Gregg (CXC) delivered a 1-2 husband and wife xc ski punch at the USSA SuperTour Tour de Twin Cities Finale 10/15km FR pursuit-style race on Sunday winning the women’s and men’s races. Rosie Brennan (APU) was over half a minute back in second followed by her teammate Kate Fitzgerald at 44.3s back.

In the men’s 15kmFR race Brian Gregg bested APU’s Mark Iverson by 7.5s as Michael Sinnott (SVSEF) made run for the overall claiming 3rd behind Iverson at 16.6s back, as Torin Koos (Bridger Ski Foundation/Rossignol), the mini-Tour leader at the start of today’s race, came in 8th at 33s behind Gregg.

Unofficially Brennan has won the mini-Tour overall and Iverson, who was trailing Sinnott by 9.08s, may have nipped him by 0.2s for the win as his time in the final race was 9.1s faster.

Next stop for the USSA SuperTour is Aspen, CO, on Feb. 9-10.
