December 20, 2005 – Despite missing some of the early season World Cups, Canada moved into 8th out of 25 countries on the Nations Cup ranking list, with the excellent team performance at the Canadian World Cups.

The Women are ranked 5th and the men 15th, for a combined rank of 8th.
