Canada’s Christian Gow 17th in Men’s Sprint at IBU World Cup in Pokljuka – Norway’s JT Boe in Charge

December 07, 2018 (Pokljuka, Slovenia) – Canada’s Christian Gow shot clean to claim another top 20 result as he finished 17th in the men’s 10-kilometer sprint at the BMW IBU World Cup in Pokljuka.

Johannes Thingnes Boe of Norway. Nordgren, took the win with with one penalty. Antonin Guigonnat of France shot clean to finish with a career-best second place at 16.1 seconds back. Third place went to Russia’s Alexander Loginov, also 10-for10 on the range at 16.4 seconds behind Boe.

The USA’s Sean Doherty was also perfect on the range finishing 26th while Leif Nordgren suffered one penalty to finish 31st. Both Americans will race in Sunday’s 12.5km pursuit along with Gow.
