Most chiefs are looking for assistants or shadows willing to learn the ropes of the position, to help the chief out and to eventually take on the chief’s role on the loppet organizing committee .

Note: John Cushing has volunteered to act in interim until a new president steps forward.

Information that potential directors and chiefs need to know :
The Birkie’s next Loppet Committee meeting is Monday, October 17, at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are planned for the 3 rd Monday of the month. The next Board meeting is Monday, October 24, at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are monthly, Monday after the Loppet meeting. Orientation and CCC Officials Certification courses and training are offered for incoming officials.
