August 25, 2014 (Ottawa, ON) – The Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP), Canada’s leader in advanced first aid services in outdoor settings, is now looking for new members to join our ranks for the 2014-2015 ski season. The CSP has a presence at about 230 ski areas spread across all 10 Canadian provinces and the Yukon.

The snow may still be months away, but members of the CSP are already thinking winter. With approximately 4,500 volunteer members across the country, we know how to make the best of Canada’s longest season. We are the country’s largest organization of volunteer first responders, we love what we do and we have fun doing it.

Our patrols from across Canada want to hear from local skiers and snowboarders interested in making a difference in their community on and off the slopes. Our members enjoy being active, top-notch training in advanced first aid, an outdoor lifestyle, responding to emergency situations and above all, helping others.

New recruits need no prior first aid skills – just a willingness to learn and get out on the slopes this winter. We’re also active off-snow as well, providing a unique year-round volunteer experience.

Join today to meet up with other skiers and snowboarders in your area, while learning valuable first aid, teamwork and leadership skills, and make new friends at the same time!

It will be the best winter you’ve ever had.
