February 29, 2012 (Montreal, QC) – Canadian Wintersports Corp. (CWS) announces that Peter Rozmovits will be the new owner of Canadian Wintersports.  Seppo Lappalainen indicated “The time had come to pass on the company he has such passion for to a younger, more dynamic team, to ensure its future growth”.

CWS, under Peter Rozmovits will continue to provide high quality Nordic products and service. The CWS brands include: Vauhti ski wax, accessories, gloves and poles, Red Creek roto tuning equipment, FI Sprint Skate rollerskis, Skike on/off skaters, Finnwool socks.

Moving forward, all aluminum products sold by Canadian Wintersports, including rollerskis, will be sold under the Vauhti brand.  This spring, CWS is introducing a new high performance classic rollerski to compliment the popular FI Sprint Skate and the Skike line of rollerskis. Seppo Lappalainen will continue to be involved in the development and manufacturing of aluminum products for CWS.
