February 20, 2006 – Just a reminder to everyone skiing at Canmore Nordic Centre (or any other Nordic Facility where day pass purchase is required):

Make sure you purchase and wear your Day passes when skiing at various venues throughout Alberta. When in a Provincial/National Park, Park Rangers may issue fines for not buying and wearing a ski pass for as much as $172 for not purchasing your $7.50 day pass!

Volunteering at an event at one of these venues? Check with race organizers to determine whether or not your day pass is included and/or make sure you have one if you decided to slip out for a quick ski!

Please advise your fellow club members and friends to avoid such expense.
