May 6, 2004 – Cross Country Canada (CCC) has a policy of zero tolerance for harassment.  This article provides a synopsis of the main points of CCC's policy on dealing with harassment.

The full CCC policy can be found at this link: http://canada.x-c.com/main.asp?cmd=fil&ID=279.  Note that the general principles of the policy apply throughout CCC, to include its member divisions and their member clubs.  However, the procedures for dealing with perceived harassment are applicable only to individuals who are involved at the national level; that is, athletes in the NST program, coaches, officials, staff and volunteers.  The details regarding the jurisdiction of the policy can be found at Annex A to the policy.
