December 20, 2007 – A Cross Country Trail Grooming Clinic will held in conjunction with the CCC World Junior Trials on January 4, 2008 at Highland Nordic, near Duntroon.

The workshop will include the use of larger equipment and traditional grooming techniques. See what is being used and what is new in cross country grooming equipment. Come and talk to people who sell equipment and those who operate it.

The one day workshop will have demonstrations, equipment to test drive and presentations on grooming techniques used by professional and club groomers. These presentations include early snow, trail development, equipment preference, and heavy snowfall grooming techniques.

Bring your experience and questions to participate in the presentations. A light lunch will be provided by the equipment vendors. People who would like to test drive equipment are requested to pre-register at timto@parolink.net with “Groomer Registration” in the subject line. Club name and driver’s name are required. There is no fee. Further details will be posted on the CCO web site as they develop.
