July 3, 2012 (New York, New York) – As the summer London Olympic Games approach, U.S. Ski Team members Jessie Diggins and Andy Newell will show campers from the YMCA of Greater New York what it takes to be a world-class athlete, the importance of fitness and the meaning of team spirit while introducing the kids to basic skiing concepts.

Diggins won a U.S. Championship and competed in a World Cup and World Championships all before her 20th birthday. Newell, is an Olympic athlete and World Cup medalist known for his impressive sprints. Both are likely to compete in the 2014 Sochi Olympic games.
