April 23, 2009 (Calgary, Alberta) – In the spirit of acknowledging healthy living habits amongst female youth, Fast and Female presented by Best Buy will be selling merchandise and presenting Buff®s to the top performing 9 to 19 year old runners at the 2009 Rocky Mountain Soap Company Women’s Run held on Saturday, April 25 at the Canmore Nordic Centre.
Since 2006, Buff® Canada has sponsored Fast and Female presented by Best Buy, offering valuable in-kind support for the hosting of outstanding youth events. At the recent 2009 Annual Ski Festival held in Calgary, Alberta, 155 participants and 30 elite ambassadors went home with fashionable and comfortable Buff® products.

The Rocky Mountain Soap Company Women’s Run is set to attract more than 1,000 female runners from across Alberta and beyond. On this special occasion, Fast and Female presented by Best Buy ambassadors Heidi Widmer (Junior National Cross-Country Ski Team member) and Mireille Stettler (alumni racer) will be on site to present the Buff® awards and to support merchandise sales.
Fast and Female presented by Best Buy is expected to make an announcement regarding a summer dryland event in the near future.
