VJuly 26, 2016 (Nakkertok, ON) – This is the final chance to VOTE for Nakkertok in the Kraft Heinz Project Play! We submitted a nomination to use the funding to both upgrade our trails for summer use and establish some snowmaking for extending the on-snow season. We are now competing for the Grand Prize of $250,000, and we need your help.

There are four finalists and the finalist with the highest number of votes determines the Grand Prize Winner. You can vote at the Kraft Heinz Project Play website here between July 25, 2016 at 12:00pm ET and July 26, 2016 at 11:59pm ET only.

What You Can Do
Here’s what you can do to help extend the XC Ski season and improve cross-country ski trail conditions.

1. Help promote our campaign. We will be promoting the Nakkertok project on our Facebook Page and Twitter account until July 26. It will help tremendously if you follow these accounts and share these posts and tweets with your networks. include the following in any social media message #PlaceToPlay @ProjectPlay #KHPP_NAKKNORDIC

2. Encourage voting.  Voting will take place between July 25, 2016 at noon ET and July 26, 2016 at 11:59pm ET. Please mark this time period in your calendar! Voters must be legal residents of Canada who are 13 years of age or older. Voters can as many times as possible in the 36 hour period, although any use of mechanical or automated programs to submit votes will result in disqualification.

Last year, the four finalists received over 1.1 million votes! If Nakkertok is to be the Grand Prize Winner, we need your support! Anything you can do to spread the word and encourage people to vote (and vote often) for Nakkertok would be very much appreciated!

We will be sending more messages over the next couple of weeks leading up to the 25/26…we need your votes, your neighbours votes, your friends votes, your families votes (13+ and residents of Canada), your soccer team, your canoe club, your hockey team, your golf club, etc….WE NEED YOUR VOTES July 25/26.
