First Ever FIS Cross-Country Competitions in Chile

September 09, 2017 – From Sunday, Sept. 3 until Tuesday, Sept. 5 the ski resort Termas de Chillan hosted the first ever FIS Cross-Country competitions in Chile. A total of seven nations took part in the three days of competition that included sprint races which were held on Sept. 3-4 organized by FEDESKI Chile. The distance race on Sept. 5 was organized by Brasil – CBDN.

Taking place just prior on the same weekend were the Chilean Cross-country Ski National Championships which were celebrated on Sept. 2. The best athletes from South America had great moments and enjoyed the first cross-country ski courses in the Chilean Andes.
