FIS NC World Cup France – Moan Wins Again

January 31, 2009 (Chaux-Neuve, France) – Magnus Moan of Norway and Anssi Koivuranta of Finland kept their Nordic Combined World Cup overall battle alive Saturday in Chaux-Neuve, France. Moan edged Koivuranta out by just over 9 seconds in the HS100/10km event. Moan trails the Finn by 53 pts in the overall standings. Bjoern Kircheisen of Germany was third 32.9 seconds off the lead. Jason Myslicki of Canada was the top North American in 31st place. Right behind him was American Alex Glueck in 32nd. The USA’s “A” team did not race the event.
