This new rule will also apply in other competitions where the starting field is limited to the top 30 athletes in the current World Cup rankings. In addition, the women’s Body Mass Index (BMI) has been increased to 21 and is now the same as for men.
With regards to ski jumping suits, the new regulations for closer fitting suits were approved for both ladies and men.
Furthermore, the use of an artificial in-run track in winter competitions for exceptional cases was accepted.
