FIS U23 Nordic Worlds Women’s 15km Pursuit – Slind Wins, Webster 8th

January 30, 2010 (Hinterzarten, Germany) – Canada’s Brittany Webster put on another show finishing 8th in the U23 Nordic Worlds 15km Women’s Pursuit on Saturday as Norway was in control with a 1-2 victory with Astrid Oeyre Slind (NOR) winning the title and team mate Hilde Lauvhaug following in second 8s later. Svetlana Nikolaeva (RUS) claimed 3rd.

The rest of the North Americans were lead by the USA’s Sadie Bjornsen in 26th, Kate Brennan (CAN) in 28th, Rebecca Rorabaugh (USA) was 31st, Ida Sargent (USA) 34th, Canada’s Emily Nishikawa was 36th and Kate Fitzgerald (USA) placed 38th.
