October 09, 2015 – The Carbonlite Skate Rollerskis represent the top-of-the-line skate option from Fischer’s recently launched new line of rollerskis. Key features include the AirCore Composite Frame, constructed using many of the same processes Fischer uses in making their Carbonlite ski line, and the Razor Shape Base.

At 965 grams apiece these new rollerskis feel very light. The flex characteristics of the AirCore Composite frame provide a lively, ski-like feel on flat ground and climbs while dampening road vibrations for a comfortable ride even on rough pavement. With a 29mm ground clearance, they also feel stable during descents and while navigating corners.

The stiffness of the AirCore Composite shaft along with the Razor Shape Base ensure that the rollerskis do not make contact with the ground even at extreme lean angles and under heavy loads during sprinting. While the skis were not tested in wet conditions, the wheels had outstanding grip on multiple surfaces, tracked straight, and are a good speed for training.

Fischer also offers a Carbonlite Classic rollerski option. Both the classic and skate models are priced at $339.95 a pair. All these attributes make the Fischer Carbonlite Skate Rollerskis a great training tool for the summer and fall months.
