July 14, 2007 (Auburn, NH) – Fischer US President David Auer, has announced several key promotions within the Fischer staff. 

Keith Apple has been appointed to the new position of V.P. Alpine Division. He will continue to manage and direct the alpine sales representatives, and his added responsibilities will now encompass overseeing the Alpine Marketing and Product Information Departments. 

Peter Ashley assumes the newly created roll of V.P. Nordic Division. The Nordic Marketing and Race Departments will report directly to Ashley. He will continue to be in charge of Nordic sales and sales representatives as well.

Dave Auer commented, “These promotions are a logical step for the continued growth of the Fischer brand. Keith and Peter have demonstrated their success directing the Fischer sales staffs, and it is a natural evolution for them to lead the efforts in steering the sales and marketing departments more closely together.”

Other recent appointments at Fischer include the promotion of Matt Berkowitz to Director Alpine Marketing. Berkowitz will also continue to operate as the Fischer Freeride manager.  Andy Canniff has been named to the new position of Director Nordic Marketing.
