November 17, 2017 (Beitostolen, Norway) – Marit Bjoergen (Nor) took the women’s 10km CL race at the Norwegian season opener in Beitostolen while Martin Johnsrud took the men’s 15km CL race. The USA’s Noah Hoffman in 20th was the top North American while Anne Hart  (USA) was 31st in the women’s race. In Saariselka, Finland no North Americans raced as Teresa Stadlober (Aut) won the 5km CL women’s race and Maurice Manificat (Fra) topped the men’s field.
