December 26, 2007 – CCC is proud to announce its second session of the Girls On Track a Heros and Mentors Program delivered by the Women On Skis Committee.

Aided by the generous support of Canadian Pacific this program brings three time Olympian, Milaine Theriault, into ski communities where she can provide female mentoring through an informal training and social setting. Next weekend on December 28th and 29th Milaine will visit Quebec City as her second stop on the Girls On Track! program in 2007-08.

This program is aimed at supporting female athletes and has the intent to stimulate interest and to help build commitment towards long term goals in the sport of cross-country skiing. On this occasion 20 young women from Skibec Nordique and Club Nordique Mont Ste-Anne will have the opportunity to benefit from Milaine’s many years of experience on Canada’s National and Olympic Teams.
