September 2, 2005 – Halti – for years the clothing supplier of the Finnish Alpine Ski Team – has entered into a three-year partnership with Atomic Austria. Halti will now become Atomic’s international clothing partner.

Under Halti’s and Atomic’s partnership, the staff and service crew of Team Atomic will dress in Halti clothing worldwide. The agreement also includes uniforms for the sales staff of the Finnish-Austrian ski giant.

Halti will provide Atomic with an apparel set comprising a ski jacket modeled on the Kalle Palander collection, ski pants, gloves, and a softshell jacket.

In addition to dressing up Atomic staff, Halti will manufacture PR clothing for the company – from T-shirts to baseball caps.

The partnership also includes marketing measures, such as photo shoots.

According to Uusitalo, teaming up with Atomic represents the natural next step in Halti’s international marketing. This Finnish sportswear brand is a key player in international alpine skiing – Halti cooperates with the International Ski Federation FIS, supplies clothing for the national teams of many countries, and signed an agreement last winter to be one of the major sponsors of the 2007 Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre, Sweden.

The partnership of Halti and Atomic is bolstered by the fact that Halti’s co-owner, alpine skiing star Kalle Palander is under agreement to use Atomic gear.
