September 26, 2006 – START is the new official wax provider of the INDi2010 Racing Team for the 2006-2007 ski season. START wax has been a mainstay in the Nordic world for over two decades, putting in years of innovative development. The INDi2010 team now has the best wax available at its fingertips.

The START line has seen numerous improvements in the past few years, including the revolutionary new Grip Tape, which allows everyone from recreational skiers to elite racers to quickly prepare skis for classic skiing in virtually any conditions in just a few minutes.
INDi2010’s Gord Jewett has become an ardent fan of START Grip Tape saying, “I began playing around with Grip Tape last winter and I was amazed that it was a completely universal grip wax. It’s almost too good to believe. I’ve used it in cold dry snow, wet sloppy conditions and on solid ice. It worked across the board with incredible durability. For recreational skiers I can’t think of how classic skiing could be any easier or more enjoyable”.

The INDi2010 team will start its season in late November with NorAm races at Sovereign Lake Ski Club in BC and will test START wax extensively during their Silver Star on-snow camp leading up to the races.

“We used START wax a lot last year and were really happy with the results we had on it,” says team racer Rhonda Sandau. “It’s great to now have a formal relationship with START that will allow us to use their wax even more often and provide product feedback directly to them.”

The INDi2010 Racing Team will be providing wax seminars and demonstrations at select locations throughout the winter as they travel the Canadian racing circuit.
