February 20, 2008 (Las Vegas, Nevada) – Norway’s Bjorn Daehlie, the most successful cross-country ski racer in history, has retaken ownership of his ski apparel company, Bj Sport and is reintroducing it in North America. Alpina Sports of Lebanon, N.H., is handling distribution and Bj Sport will supply the U.S. Ski Team’s Nordic teams through the 2010 Olympics and 2011 Nordic World Championships in Oslo. We caught up with Daehlie – winner of 46 World Cup wins, 12 Olympic medals including eight golds plus 17 World Championships medals – at the Alpina booth during the recent SIA (SnowSport Industries America) trade show in Las Vegas where he made time for a wide-ranging interview.
