June 18, 2014 – The 2018/19 FIS World Championship Organizers were announced on Thursday, 5^th June 2014 during the FIS Congress week in Barcelona, Spain. Following the election, FIS took the opportunity to interview the newly selected hosts on-site including Franz Steinle, President for the German Ski Association, about the FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2018 Oberstdorf, Germany, and Markus Tschoner, CEO of Seefeld Tourism, about the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld, Austria.
