IOC Retesting Turin 2006 Samples for CERA and Biological Passports are Working

May 19, 2010 – Acting on “new information” from WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) about possible doping Olympic officials are re-testing samples from the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Turin to check for use of the blood-boosting drug CERA reports Associated Press. Meanwhile Discovery News reports that cycling’s new Biological Passports that measure blood and body chemistry over time are making headway.
