January 12, 2017 (Heber City, Utah) – Canadians swarmed the podium again as national ski team member Jesse Cockney (Foothills Nordic) raced to victory in the Men’s Sprint FR Qualifier at Soldier Hollow as the 2017 L.L.Bean US Cross Country Championships wrapped up on Thursday.

Alberta World Cup Academy’s Julien Locke claimed second while Knute Johnsgaard also with the AWCA finished third. Logan Hanneman with APU Nordic Ski Center was the top American in 4th.
