October 28, 2012 (Czech Republic) – The ČSOB pojišťovna Jizerská 50, a traditional Czech cross-country ski race, is preparing for its 46th edition. With less than three months to go more than 5,000 participants have registered. You can register too, stay in the beautiful environment of the Jizera Mountains and take advantage of a range of interesting benefits.

The main fifty kilometre classic-style race will traditionally take place on a Sunday, this time on January 13, 2013. The half-distance Intersport Jizerská 25 race will be run a day earlier, on Saturday, 12 January. Thanks to the separation of the events, racers will have greater comfort on the trail and in the facilities in Bedřichov.

Together with the biggest Czech travel agency, Čedok, we have prepared for you a simple reservation system for hotel accommodation. Because we know the region well, we have selected the most appropriate hotels in all price categories in Liberec, Bedřichov and Jablonec nad Nisou. The organizer is also ensuring for you accommodation in the period from 11 January to 13 January 2013 according to the requirements stated on the registration form. Accommodation is automatically reserved when the relevant field is checked on the form. Requests can be processed until 9 December 2012 or until capacity is exhausted.

We will also ensure for you transportation from the closest cities. As is tradition, shuttle transport will be available to racers free of charge from Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. If you want to drive to the site in Bedřichov, you will have the possibility to use the offer of parking cards. The price of cards for the P2 and P3 parking lots is CZK 300 for each day. This amount can be paid together with the registration. Parking cards for Sunday, 13 January 2013, are already sold out!

The starting fee is EUR 56 until the end of 2012; from 10 to 12 January 2013, it will be EUR 68. The price of parking cards is CZK 300 per day.
