Job Description:
Position profile
– Sport management/sport marketing degree or equivalent qualification
– Excellent command of the English language (preferably native English speaker or several years of work experience in an English-speaking environment), as well as knowledge of an additional foreign language (French or Spanish)
– Experience of international and/or NGO work as well as marketing/media management experience
– Good command of standard office software
– Good organisational and social skills
– Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal office hours if needed
– Knowledge of German language is a plus

Job Description
1. The Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for the promotion, marketing and communication of ICSSPE’s activities and services towards the public, donors and sponsors.
2. The Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for the production of information and background materials concerning ICSSPE’s activities, the monthly online News, and the updating and development of the ICSSPE Website.
3. The Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for the initiation, management and follow-up of media-related, sponsorship and fundraising activities of ICSSPE.
4. The Communications and Marketing Manager is co-responsible for the initiation, management and follow-up of events and other projects organised by ICSSPE.
5. The Communications and Marketing Manager is co-responsible for the organisation of statutory business meetings of ICSSPE as well as other events where ICSSPE is actively involved.
6. When necessary, the Communications and Marketing Manager represents ICSSPE at national and international events.

This Berlin-based full-time position is available from April 16, 2007 until December 31, 2008 with an option for prolongation.
