June 22, 2014 (Barrie, ON) – Hardwood Ski and Bike is seeking a Head Coach for their Radical Rabbits program, which is an extension of the Jackrabbits program.  Children ages 10-12 who have skills in both Skate and Classic participate in this 10 week program.

Coach responsibilities:

• Plan practices in a micro and macro level
• Communicate with students and parents
• Direct other coaches
• Communicate grooming needs with grooming staff
• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and curriculum

Applicants must:

• Have a good knowledge of ski technique (Classic and Skate)
• Have good knowledge in waxing
• Have a police backround check (or be willing to get one)
• Have or be willing to get NCCP Community coaching certificate
• Experience working with children
• Be able to commit to 10 weekends throughout the winter months
