November 21, 2014 – The opening weekend of competition in Bruksvallarna, Sweden, featuring most of the Swedish National team, saw Charlotte Kalla and Johan Olsson victorious in the 5/10 km classic events.

Today’s event was the first of three days of competition in Bruksvallarna. Tomorrow will be 10/15 km in the free technique.  Sunday will complete the three days with a classic sprint.

Kalla showed that she is in competition winning form with a dominant 37 second victory over Sofia Henriksson and 50.4 ahead of Anna Haag.

The top place in the men’s competition was separated by just 0.4 seconds with Olsson winning out over Calle Halvarsson.  In third was Lars Nelson +22.4.
