April 09, 2010 – German biathlete Kati Wilhelm announced here retirement following the 2010 Games after an incredibly successful 10-year career during which she won five World Championships, 21 World Cups, and three Olympic gold medals. She won seven Olympic medals in total, with the most recent being bronze in the women’s biathlon relay in Vancouver.
