August 25, 2010 (Barrie, Ontario) – Kikkan Randall’s international success is well known in the ski world. What isn’t so well known is the path that she took to reach that success. The hours of anonymous hard work and dedication have paid out in spades for Randall, who recently attended the Ontario High Performance Camp at Hardwood Ski and Bike, in Barrie Ontario to pass along her insights into what it really takes to be a 24-hour-a-day high-performance athlete. Her words are at once motivating and grounding, providing inspiration to young athletes while not shying away from the reality that skiing won’t make you rich and that you’d better be in it for the right reasons – if you are, she says, the sky’s the limit.
